Website Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
James Gregory Fazio, operating as Fazio IT (“we” or “us”), operates fazioit.com and support.fazioit.com. This policy explains the public website, internet plan checker, buying guides and restricted business tools. The App Privacy Policy gives additional detail about mobile network checks, business-support accounts, tickets, notifications and account deletion. Questions: [email protected].
Browsing and website infrastructure
Our website runs on a Fazio IT-managed server behind Cloudflare. Requests can reveal your IP address, requested page or URL, timestamp, browser and device information, referring page, and technical security or error information. Cloudflare and our server process connection information to deliver pages, prevent abuse and investigate problems. Location inferred from an IP address is approximate; visiting a page does not request your device’s GPS location.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for page-visit and performance reports, including page paths, browser/operating-system categories, country and loading or interaction timings. These reports are separate from connection and security logs. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies or checks. We do not use the guide to add advertising cookies, sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Pages load fonts from Google-hosted services, which receive the connection requests needed to deliver them. Visiting an ordinary buying-guide page does not require a login or send your contact details to a retailer. See Cloudflare privacy information and Google privacy information.
The Black Friday Deal Watch stores your light/dark preference in your browser. Product search and category filters run against the published page data; filters may appear in a shareable URL fragment and remain in browser history or a link you copy. They do not create a support account or send a request to the private pricing tool.
Internet plan checker and result links
As you type an address, the checker sends partial text to our server for suggestions from locally held public address records. When you run a check, we receive the address or ZIP code, selected speed and any optional current-provider, monthly-bill and download-speed details you enter. We use these inputs to compare available plans. We may send the entered address, or coordinates associated with a selected public address, to the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoding service to locate it. See Census privacy information.
The checker uses temporary processing, rate-limit information and an in-memory geocoding cache. Its normal request log removes autocomplete query strings, but this does not remove information from other infrastructure logs. It does not create a customer account or automatically email your results to us.
The results URL includes your address and can include the optional provider, bill and speed details. The homepage address form also passes the address in the results-page URL. These URLs can remain in browser history, copied messages and technical logs. Anyone you share a results link with can read its included inputs and reopen the check. Share it only with intended recipients. You can omit optional bill information and use a ZIP code when an exact-address check is unnecessary. Our infrastructure providers may process request URLs; this is why we do not promise that an entered address is never stored anywhere.
Contact requests and scheduling
When you submit a contact form, we process your supplied name, email, request type, message and any other details you choose to send. Our contact handler forwards requests to our business email and can include a connection IP address; operational records can contain name, email and IP information. Google Workspace/Gmail processes our business correspondence. We use these records to respond, arrange requested services, document work and handle follow-up. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Scheduling links open Google’s appointment service. Information you provide there is also processed under Google’s terms and privacy practices. A website inquiry does not by itself subscribe you to a marketing list.
Support accounts, saved plans and newsletters
Support accounts and shared business tickets use Supabase for authentication and storage, Resend for service email, and Apple for optional app notifications. They follow the access, deletion, shared-history and provider-record practices in the App Privacy Policy. A company email domain does not automatically grant access.
Our pricing, capital-budget and newsletter tools are restricted to authorized Fazio IT operators. Saved client plans and versions can contain business/contact labels, equipment requirements, quantities, cost estimates, replacement schedules, warranty information and notes that an operator enters. Saved newsletter issues and generated client versions can include that planning information and Fazio IT commentary. They are business working records, not a public customer directory. These tools do not give the public access to your plans.
Creating or previewing a newsletter does not automatically send it. If we share an agreed client briefing or plan by email or export, the intended recipient and their email or file service receive that copy. Removing a support login does not automatically erase separate pricing plans, delivered email or exported documents; staff review is needed to find and handle those related records.
Retention, recovery copies and providers
Our target for inquiries that do not become client work is 12 months after the last interaction. Review and cleanup are manual; unresolved matters and necessary business or legal records can remain longer. Our review tool identifies email conversations for review rather than deleting them automatically. Gmail Trash and provider systems can retain additional copies under their own processes. Routine server/contact logs are configured for approximately 30 days, with rotation timing rather than a guaranteed per-entry deadline.
Client plans, plan versions, newsletters and delivered client correspondence are retained while needed for agreed services, business record-keeping or a justified retention need. Active pricing records are not automatically erased merely because 30 days have passed; contact us for review or correction. Account and ticket retention periods are described separately in the App Privacy Policy.
Independent encrypted production database backups and separate pricing-tool backups run daily on our managed server and in private Cloudflare R2 storage. New backups undergo isolated restore verification. Archive cleanup targets copies older than 30 days while retaining verified replacements, including the newest two copies; safety checks can delay removal. Database recovery journals separately keep limited deletion/access events for at least 90 days and longer if needed for safe recovery. Recovery-key material is stored separately, including an encrypted copy in Apple iCloud Drive. Active-record deletion does not immediately erase every historical copy. Recovery must respect completed privacy and access removals; related pricing/export copies require their own review.
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Their logs, mailbox records and provider-managed backups have separate retention settings and may outlast active records. Relevant providers include Cloudflare, Google, Supabase, Resend and Apple. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.
Product guides and retailer links
The public buying guide displays Fazio IT analysis and plain retailer links. It does not collect your retailer password, payment details, cart or order history. Following an Amazon or other external link sends you to that provider, which processes your visit and purchases under its own privacy practices. The guide does not currently use paid affiliate links. If that changes, we will identify the commercial relationship where the recommendation appears.
Your choices and requests
You can browse guides without creating an account, avoid optional form fields, and choose whether to contact us or follow external links. To request access, correction or deletion of information we hold about you, email [email protected]. We may need to verify the request and identify the records involved. We will explain any information that must be retained and handle the request under applicable law. Mobile-account deletion controls and review service targets are explained in the App Privacy Policy.
We use HTTPS and restrict private tools to authorized access, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Our services are intended for adults, not children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information. This policy will show its effective date when updated; additional notice or permission will be provided when required.
